Now that DICE has confirmed there will be a day one patch for Battlefield 3 to fix bugs and other issues that DICE couldn't put in the final build before disks of the game had to be printed. But now Daniel Matros, DICE's Global Community Manager confirmed on twitter that the patch will include putting in a command rose or 'comma rose' for short. This will of course only be for PC since consoles have a Battlefield in-game chat. Traditionally what you do to activate the comma rose is push the "Q" key on your keyboard, but that might change in BF3, yet not very likely.
Command rose is basically a communication interface in previous Battlefield games such a BF2 and BF:2142, that lets you tell your teammates what to do since there is no PC game chat. Things in previous builds of the comma rose had things such as saying Need Pick-up, Sorry, Need ammo, Follow me, Thank you, Roger that, and a couple more commands that is really helpful when you cant talk to teammates.
Since this has come back PC players will once again be able to communicate with their teammates since it hasn't been a part of Battlefield since BF:2142 and in my opinion, it is the most important part of the game since Battlefield is more of a team-based game, and without communication on PC, it is hard to do what you strategically want to happen.

Is the picture the official commo-rose for bf3?
A lot of people use things like Skype and stuff though, but would still be really usefull :)
