Demize99, or Alan Kertz of DICE tweeted out the patch that there will be made to "nerf" the flashlight attachment. Many people have just been not playing the game in general because of the light and its nice it will be turned down a notch. Here between the before and after pictures you can clearly tell it is much less bright.
