Battlefield 3 beating MW3 in Preorder sales

In a report by EA, Battlefield 3 is overcoming MW3 at preorder sales. Does that mean BF3 will take the crown as the best 1st person shooter from Call of duty? We will just have to find out on the release date of both of these games.
