As most Battlefield fans knok, a new trailer for Battlefield 3 was just released. And with that came highly anticipated jet gameplay. But besides just the jet gameplay we saw Tanks, Helicopters, Cars, Quads, and Remote Controlled Robots!
These jets aren't just any jets. They are harriers or some other sort of jump jet that has vertical takeoff/landing capabilities. This looks not to be too overpowered since they float over you either trying to fight off a other jet or trying to get you. It also looks like these jets will be equipped with a chain gun and missiles. It also seems that you are going to be able to lock onto targets with the jets missiles. With lock on missiles it looks like there is a certain number of flares you have, so those flares will only protect from heat seeking missiles. DICE seemed to have balanced jets with the other vehicles and infantry perfectly and we should have any problems with jets.
