Ever since a couple months ago, when Gustav Halling tweeted the 4chan post by activision, with trolls saying MW2 needed dinosaurs, after that people have been obsessed with imaginary game modes like dino survival mode, ect. But the T-rex has still been part of the game, with your character holding it in the beginning scene of Thunder Run on Single-player, or with the dog tags or xbox avatar prop.
But now the T-rex is actually in the game, no, not as in a real one, but a toy one on the shores of Wake Island as a Easter Egg for Back to Karkand. It can be interesting to look at, but nothing you can gain from finding it. Just another addition to the game to make you smile a bit.
