Originally, Battlefield developer DICE had pitched Battlefield to be a GameCube exclusive to Nintendo, according to Penny Arcade's Jeff Kalles (former Nintendo of America employee).
Apparently, even though Nintendo's initial love for the pitch, it never got past the gatekeepers because Nintendo had no online strategy in place. This might have actually been a good thing for DICE because the fact that other platforms had better online capabilities. And even now, Nintendo has not really dived into the online business. But if Nintendo did take DICE in Nintendo's Online service would be forced to be good, causing them to have one of the best online gaming platforms in the business.
Tell us what you think about this and tell us what you think would have happened if Nintendo took DICE's pitch.

Even though for some reason I always select Anonymous, I probably check this site more than 3 times a day as well, I like the lay-out and it just contains everything I need to know about Battlefield :) Great job!
